WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO LEARN WITH PERFECTLY SPOKEN?

Good question. Students can learn and improve their English in different ways because our system is so flexible. Have a look at these TOP TIPS to help you understand the best way for you to learn

Top Tips

How to make the most of Perfectly Spoken

Advice from students and teachers

Take the level test.

It’s free and takes just 10 minutes

It’s not perfect but it will give you a good idea of which course you should start your English language learning journey with at Perfectly Spoken

Focus

You can learn on your mobile on your laptop but like most things that are good for you,

You need to make sure you can focus on the lesson and not have too many distractions; so try and find somewhere quiet where you can concentrate

Watch and watch again

As with many things, the second (or even third ) time of us doing something, that thing becomes

easier to understand –easier to do! So watch and watch the lesson again, pause and think about the content.

Test yourself

Your teacher will often ask you questions during the lesson so stop the video, think about the answer and even write it down and then continue the recording

If you get something wrong, go back and watch again and test yourself again

Finally, when you are ready to do the lesson test, think very carefully about your answers. You can take most tests again but the FIRST time you do it is the most important one

Establish a routine

On average we will be adding 2 lessons a week for you at your level. You will know in advance when these lessons will be posted so your routine can be to watch them on the day they are broadcast or maybe it’s better for you to watch both lessons in one go. But remember you need to make sure you understand everything and do the lesson test before you move on to the next lesson

Practice with us with Live lessons

At the moment we offer 2 free FB live lessons every week which gives students a chance to practice and interact with our teachers –your teacher. You should take advantage of these. Even if you can’t attend the live lesson, you can always watch the lesson at a later time

In the future we will be offering lots more exciting opportunities to practice..

Experiment

You need to enrol on one course at a time. It’s a good idea to watch each lesson in order in the course to make good progress. But, remember you can change courses at any time if the course is too easy or too difficult

And of course you can watch ANY lesson of at any level… so experiment!
