We start with CV writing, discussing how to structure your CV, what to include and what not to include. At the end of this session, you will build your own CV with your own information. Then there is a session which looks at the difference between a CV and a resume and when to use either one. We then produce a functional resume in the functional resume writing session. In the cover letter writing session, we discuss how to begin and end a cover letter and what to include in between. At the end of this session you will write your own cover letter.
Once we have all the documentation ready we look at how to apply for a job in English. The second half of the course concentrates on job interview techniques in English.
We start with general tips about job interviews in English. Then we discuss how to approach difficult questions in an interview. Next there is a session about what competency based interviewing is and how to handle it. Then we discuss group interviews and how to shine in them.
