Andy Nicoll

I am from Dundee in Scotland but have been living and working in Catalonia, Spain since 2003. I have a 9 year-old daughter who keeps me on my toes. Before working as an English teacher, I worked in a number of fields including a solicitor’s office, Post Office Counters in the UK and a publishing company in London. In my free time, I love to read historical novels and am a keen singer, both in choirs and also solo in jazz jam sessions.

As well as teaching and directing general English in language schools, I  have provided language training to politicians, senior civil servants, pilots training for their official English for Aviation exams, university staff, secondary school teachers and departmental managers in the chemical industry. I have also worked in the field of online language teaching since 2005. I am a University of Cambridge Speaking Examiner.
